Happy March, everybody! I hope you’re all doing well.
This past week I turned 19! Unfortunately I was sick on my birthday, so my roommate and I stayed in bed most of the day and then only left the room to go see our school’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. But luckily my mom visited me this weekend! My hometown is about 5-6 hours away by car, so she did quite the trek! It was really nice getting to see her again.
While she was in town we walked around downtown together and acted like tourists, which is easy to do because I live in a very tourist-y town! There’s one big store called Paddington Station that we both love that sells all sorts of cute and funny things, and they were having a sale on accessories so she bought me a few things:
This necklace immediately made me think of Japanese konpeito candy! And it was only $4 too~
I’ve been wanting a bag like this for a long time, so I was amazed that they sold them at the store! It can be converted from a long strap to a short strap to a backpack, and I can’t wait to use it!
The next day she took me to a run a few errands and I picked up some fun things as well.
I’ve been wanting some accent lashes for a while, and I’m completely in love! These blend in amazingly with my natural lashes, and really give a cute look. They’re also super comfortable. I want to buy a million more pairs and wear them every single day!
One of my current obsessions is lip gloss, and I’m self conscious about how thin my lips are, so buying this was a pretty easy decision for me. I’m not sure if the “plumping” is really that obvious, but this gloss gives my lips a nice tingling sensation and stays on pretty well, so I like it!
Today I went by Market of Choice and bought this drink called “Alo”
It’s on sale pretty much every time I go in, so I figured I might as well try it. At first it was a bit jarring because it has bits of aloe vera pulp, but now it reminds me of the fruit jellies I get in my bubble tea so I enjoy it a lot more.
I’ve been a bit stressed out lately, with the term getting close to being over and with Sakuracon being in less than a month, so hopefully things will chill out soon. I want to get back to blogging regularly!
