Hey guys! I’ve entered Lockshop Wigs’ outfit contest on Facebook!! If you all could vote for me, that’d be amazing! You just need to “like” Lockshop Wigs, and then “like” my entry, which is below:

If I win, I’ll win a wig as well as a surprise gift, but along with that, if I win I’ll have a special surprise for all of my readers too! After all, if I win something, I should spread the love to the people who helped me, shouldn’t I~?
And with that out of the way, let’s get on with the 30 Day Lolita Meme.

Day 6 – 10 things you can’t live without in lolita.
1. Big skirts! I seriously can’t wear lolita unless I have my two petticoats, or if I’m away from home, if I can borrow some poof. Part of what attracted me to lolita were the big poofy skirts, so, naturally, they’re my favorite part of lolita.
2. False eyelashes. I originally started wearing falsies for cosplay, but they’re addicting. I LOVE wearing them, I think they make such a difference to my normal makeup! I also wear them with formal non-lolita outfits too sometimes.
3. RINGS! It’s funny, I used to hate wearing rings because I would always play with them. But at MEWcon ’09/’10, I bought a few cute lolita rings from a girl in the Artist Alley, who I later became friends with. Almost all my rings are from her, since I try to buy something every time I see her at a con! I seriously can’t wear lolita without a few cute rings.
4. Adorable shoes. My first pair of shoes that I considered to be lolita were bought the day after Easter in the kids section, and they were little white formal shoes. They came in a big enough size to fit me, and I was in love! Since then I’ve gotten some better shoes, but I could never wear just simple flats or ordinary shoes in lolita.
5. Circle lenses! This is a recent development, but I LOVE wearing circle lenses. I think they make me look way cuter, plus the pair I have is super comfortable. Like falsies, I started wearing them for cosplay, but then it spilled over into lolita and even normal clothes.
6. Boleros and cardigans. I’m uncomfortable showing my upper arms, but I usually get too warm in long sleeves. But I LOVE boleros and cardigans because I can cover my arms with them, but the sleeves are easy to roll up. Almost every outfit I wear involves a cardigan or bolero.
7. Cute nails~ I have very thin nails that easily break, so part of why I started always wearing nail polish was to keep them from peeling and cracking. But now I love doing my nails to match my outfit! I have a lot of cute pastel colors to match my lolita outfits, and I think it’s a nice finishing touch.
8. Wigs! For a while my hair was a strange cut and color to wear with my lolita, so I started wearing almost exclusively wigs. Now my hair is back to it’s natural color and a cuter cut, but it’s still nice to be able to plop on a wig and not have to spend time doing my hair.
9. OTK socks or tights. Like my arms, I’m uncomfortable with my legs, so knee-highs that stop below my knee tend to make me look… not so great. I think socks that cover my knee and tights help make my legs look slimmer.
10. My friends! I love lolita, but it’s way more fun to wear it with friends who are dressed up with me rather than all alone. Unfortunately I don’t go to school with any lolita friends, but during winter break I’m getting and opportunity to dress up. I can’t wait to finally go to another meetup!
